Cruise is going to war! Variety is reporting that Tom Cruise is in talks to the join the cast of All You Need Is Kill, a futuristic war movie about a soldier who finds himself reliving the last day he's killed over and over. The project has been in development for a while, you've probably heard it mentioned before, as they were aiming for a younger actor like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but instead have now focused on Cruise, even rewritting the character to be suited to his age (Cruise is 49). He's not officially signed, but director Doug Liman (Go, Bourne Identity, Jumper) has gone so far as to fly to a set and continue discussions with him. ...
