Comes for the Madness, Stay for a Drink! Johnny Depp is finally back for more Hunter S. Thompson wackiness! After delaying this film for quite a while, FilmDistrict has finally launched the first official trailer for The Rum Diary, based off of Hunter S. Thompson's novel, starring Johnny Depp as Paul Kemp, a divorced alcoholic who heads down to San Juan to work as a journalist for the newspaper. This is as wacky as it sounds, but looks awesome, at least like it's going to be insanely fun to watch. The cast includes Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart, Giovanni Ribisi and Richard Jenkins.
