Now that we know the Midnight Madness line-up at TIFF this year, one film premiering there is Douglas Aarniokoski's The Day, a post-apocalyptic thriller starring a cast of attractive young actors: Ashley Bell, Dominic Monaghan, Shawn Ashmore, Cory Hardrict and Shannyn Sossamon. This teaser trailer, and poster, came from RopeofSilicon, as it's now time to build some buzz for TIFF. The Day is yet another "band of survivors must fight to keep humanity alive in a bleak post-apocalyptic world" film. I hate to say it, but this trailer kind of seemed like an MTV promo for their own PA series. But I'll still see it. Watch below! ...
